Total Projects (UK) Ltd were appointed under a JCT Design & Build 2024 contract to deliver the Ellison Institute of Technology project at the prestigious Schrödinger Building, Oxford Science Park.
This £11 million scheme involved the strip out and high-end CAT B fit out of approximately 40,000 sq ft, delivered over a fast-track 23-week programme. The project incorporated a complex 60:40 split between CL2 wet laboratory environments and modern office space, requiring careful coordination and strict compliance with laboratory standards.
Working to an accelerated programme, the team successfully transformed the space into a state-of-the-art research and workplace facility, achieving completion in December 2025. The project required a high level of technical delivery, detailed planning, and close collaboration to meet demanding programme and quality expectations.
