Karus Therapeutics Laboratory Case Study
Karus Therapeutics is a clinical-stage biopharmaceutical company, based in Oxfordshire, UK. They are focussed on developing precision medicines to treat cancer patients with a clear unmet medical need and limited treatment options. Karus is the first company in the world to generate synthetic analogues of depsipeptides. These insights are allowing Karus to synthesize HDAC inhibitors that are more potent, less toxic and have better drug-like properties than their predecessors.
The design and build of a new, 8,000 square foot laboratory space by Total Laboratories for Karus Therapeutics was completed at the Harwell Campus in Didcot, Oxfordshire in just 20 weeks.
